It’s Christmas day and many of us will be tucking into prawns, ham and turkey with all the sides before imbibing in a few festive drinks (responsibly of course).

More than 40,000 people are locked up around Australia, and despite being imprisoned most of them will still get a Christmas dinner.

Here’s what’ll be on the plate of some of Australia’s most notorious and accused criminals today.

In 2020, it was confirmed that Bradley Robert Edwards was the killer of Jane Rimmer and Ciara Glennon who went missing from Claremont in the 90s.

This will be the eighth Christmas he’ll be behind bars at Casuarina Prison and with no possibility of parole until 2056, there are many more on the cards.

Terrence Kelly, 37, who was convicted of kidnapping Cleo Smith also has a cell at Casuarina.

These two and more than 1000 inmates at Casuarina will be served roast chicken, ham and vegetables sourced from WA’s prison farms.
