Looking ahead on Apple TV+

John le Carré may best be known as the author of novels like Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy and The Constant Gardener (both of which received cinematic adaptations), but beyond the printed page, the Englishman was also a decorated espionage operative, serving the UK’s MI5 and MI6 during the Cold War.

Now for the first time, audiences will be able to get a glimpse at the life and times of the late David Cornwell (le Carré’s legal name) through the inspired lens of acclaimed filmmaker Errol Morris. The film is The Pigeon Tunnel, and it lands on Apple TV+ on October 20. We’re also eagerly awaiting the platform premiere of Martin Scorsese’s latest epic, Killers of the Flower Moon, which you’ll be able to see in theaters this October.
