One interesting bet that can be made is whether the 40-yard dash record will be broken.
Ex-Giants wide receiver and former Bengals first-round pick John Ross set the record when he ran a 4.22 40-yard dash at the 2017 NFL combine.
Fastest 40-yard dash time over/under
Over | Under |
---|---|
4.275 seconds (-114) | Under 4.275 seconds (-114) |
The odds are against it as betting on a new record comes with +790 odds, which factors in that Miami receiver Tyler Harrell was not invited to the combine.
Harrell ran a 4.24 in the 40 at just 19 years old in 2021 when he attended Louisville’s Pro Day to help showcase Malik Cunningham’s skills.
The wideout is one of the fastest players in all of college sports and may indeed break the record when he attends Miami’s Pro Day later this year.

The bench press is another staple of the combine and features tasty props, including whether the record will be broken and where this year’s top performer will finish.
Seven-year NFL veteran Stephen Paea set the record with 49 reps in 2011.
