The former bikie boss behind a multimillion-dollar methamphetamine syndicate is preparing to convince the judges of WA’s highest court of his innocence — as one of the kingpin’s accomplices lost his bid to clear his name.

One-time Comanchero State commander Nikola Maksimovic was jailed for 24 years after he was found guilty in 2022 of being the crime boss who called the shots in a 56kg shipment of ice into WA from Victoria in 2019.
