Franklin County are looking for a missing person

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Mo — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has launched a search for Esley John Ray, a 47-year-old resident of Franklin County. Ray, who is known to have a history of violence, is currently missing and may be avoiding law enforcement.

Ray is a white male, standing at 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing approximately 265 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. During his last sighting, he was seen wearing aviator-style glasses, a light blue shirt featuring the number 4, black shorts, and black and red high-top tennis shoes.

According to authorities, Ray suffers from schizophrenia and has limited cognitive functioning, similar to that of a 10-year-old child. The last confirmed sighting of him was walking westbound away from 2391 Brinkman Rd. in Villa Ridge. Ray has been known to be violent and maybe fearful of police.

If Anyone seen the missing person, or anyone having any information related to the endangered missing person should immediately dial 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency or call the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office at 636-583-2560.
