The Giants used their first pick of the day on Saturday to take Penn State tight end Theo Johnson in the fourth round of the NFL draft.
Johnson is coming off a season where he picked it up in the second half of the year, finishing with 34 receptions for 341 yards and seven touchdowns.
The Nittany Lions tight end clocked a 4.57 40-yard dash and a 39.5-inch vertical.
Johnson also had more than 120 snaps outside the slot for Penn State last season.
With Darren Waller’s future still in doubt, he gives the Giants insurance at the tight end spot.
