Sydney’s The Grounds of Alexandria has been crowned the world’s most Instagrammed restaurant.
According to a new study commissioned by Betway, the sprawling cafe, bar and restaurant notched up nearly double the posts of the most popular US restaurant, Nobu Malibu.
A whopping 120,440 posts were made using #groundsofalexandria, according to the study which analysed the hashtags of 100 US and 100 international restaurants.
“The eatery is a popular events venue thanks to its beautiful decor, frequently playing host to weddings, parties and photoshoots,” Betway wrote in its report.
The Grounds of Alexandria opened in 2012 on the site of a former pie factory and is known for its extravagant themed displays, which are changed up regularly.
Sketch in London (94,098) came in second to The Grounds.
