SSC CPO Application Status 2023: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the application status for the SSC CPO and SI in Delhi Police Recruitment. The SSC CPO Computer-Based Examination will be held from October 3 to 6, October 2023.
The candidates, who have applied for the SSC Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2023, can check their application status on the regional portal or on the official SSC website – https://ssc.nic.in/.
In July 2023, the Delhi Police Sub Inspector Recruitment was announced for a total of 1876 Posts. The application process for these posts was open until August 15, 2023. As for the examination dates, the SSC CPO Computer-Based Examination is scheduled to take place from October 3 to October 6, 2023.
On the day of the exam, candidates must carry an original photo identity card with the date of birth as printed on the admission certificate. If the photo identity card does not have the date of birth, the candidate must carry an additional original certificate as proof of date of birth. If there is a mismatch in the date of birth mentioned in the admission certificate and the photo ID or the certificate brought in support of the date of birth, the candidate will not be allowed to appear in the examination.

Scheme of Examination
The examination comprises several mandatory stages, including Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-II, and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
Paper-I consists of 200 questions, each carrying a maximum of 200 marks, with a duration of 2 hours. The sections include:

  • General Intelligence and Reasoning (50 questions)
  • General Knowledge and General Awareness (50 questions)
  • Quantitative Aptitude (50 questions)
  • English Comprehension (50 questions)

Negative marking applies, deducting 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
Candidates who qualify in Paper-I will be called for the PST/PET. The PST/PET consists of physical fitness tests such as a 100-meter race, 800-meter race, long jump, and shot put.
Candidates who qualify in the PST/PET will be called for Paper-II. Paper-II consists of 200 questions on English Language and Comprehension. Negative marking applies, deducting 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.
Candidates who qualify in Paper-II will be called for the DME. The DME is a medical examination to assess the candidate’s fitness for the job.
Candidates who qualify in all stages of the examination will be selected for the post.
